This is the reason why we offer you in this trip to practice yoga daily but also to discover the sites and temples richest in Art and History of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. You will be captivated by their architecture and the mythology that surrounds them. It is also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the meaning and beauty of sculptures, shapes and colors that constitutes an unequaled heritage. The last part of the trip will allow you to practice on the most beautiful beaches of India.

Day 01 | Chennai
Upon your arrival, your Passion To India guide will be happy to welcome you and help you check in at your hotel where you can refresh and rest. A summary of your stay will be presented to you. Depending on your arrival time you can go for a walk and have a first contact with the city. Night in Chennai.
Day 02 | Chennai
Early morning yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast. Visit Kapaleeshwara temple, Triplicane and Sri Parthasarathy temple. And also visit St. Thomas Cathedral, Fort St. George, Museums. Night in Chennai.
Day 03 | Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast before heading to Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram was the historic capital of the Pallavas. it is also known for the quality of her locally made silk saris. Visit Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple, Ekambareshwara Temple, Kailasanatha Temple, and Vaigundha Perumal Temples. Enjoy a delicious meal, typical of South India, at a local restaurant before discovering a silk weaving workshop. After discovering the sacred city of Kanchipuram, you will be driven to Mamallapuram to spend the night.
Day 04 | Mahabalipuram to Tiruvannamalai
Early morning yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast. Discover one of the most beautiful sites in South India. Mahabalipuram is known for its seven pagodas. Visit the Descent of the Ganges, Krishna’s Butter Ball, the cave temples, the five Rathas and the famous temple by the sea. After discovering this rich heritage proceed to Tiruvannamalai. The temple is located at the foot of Annamalai hill. It is one of the largest temples dedicated to Shiva in Tamil Nadu. Tiruvannamalai has long been associated with many yogis, siddhars and more recently with the twentieth century guru, Ramana Maharshi. Day 05 | Tiruvannamalai - Swamimalai - Kumbakonam
Early morning yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast before heading to Kumbakonam. En route visit Swamimalai. This temple is located on the banks of the Cauvery River. It is the fourth of the six main shrines (Aru Padai Veedu) of Lord Subramania.
It is located on an artificial hill. The temple is surrounded by three sacred reservoirs – Vajra, Saravana and Netra Pushkarini. This place is very popular with Indians and worship (puja) is offered six times a day. Going downhill you can take a break at the intermediate level to enjoy the breeze, the view of the village and the spectacle of the Kaveri River.
Have lunch at a local restaurant and arrive in Kumbakonam. The city is famous for the Mahamaham Festival which is celebrated once in 12 years at the Mahamaham Reservoir located in the heart of the city. The city is also renowned for its prestigious educational institutions and its craft of brass vases. It is mainly a market town for the predominantly agricultural villages that surround it. Betel leaves are one of the specialties. There are dozens of temples to visit according to your desires. Overnight in Kumbakonam.
Day 06 | Kumbakonam - Thanjavur
Early morning yoga session at the temple. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast before heading to Thanjavur. It was the ancient capital of the Chola kingdom and it continued to flourish under the Maratha and Nayak dynasties. Its important activity during all the Antiquity makes that we can still see today many temples and vestiges.
Thanjavur is also known as “Rice Bowl of India”, the rice bowl of India, because of the many paddy fields that surround it. It is one of the main cultural centers of the region. Check-in at the hotel and start the tour. The great temple of Tanjore dedicated to the god Shiva and his big bull, the museum of Thanjavur, his art gallery and his palace. Overnight in Thanjavur.
Day 07 | Thanjavur - Karaikudi
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast before heading to Karaikudi in the Chettinad area. This region owes its name to the Chettiars, a Tamil community of merchants who in the nineteenth century built palaces in the region, thanks to the money raised with their economic activities in Asia in the nineteenth century.
Three villages are included in UNESCO’s inventory. Stroll through this city with beautiful wide streets lined with beautiful buildings. You will live in one of its extraordinary houses and taste the famous cuisine for its delicacy. Overnight in Karaikudi.
Day 08 | Karaikudi - Madurai
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast before heading to Madurai. En route visit Sittanavasal, one of the most important old Jain centers of this region of India. There are many other interesting monuments, both Hindu and Jain. Some of the best rock paintings in medieval India can be found in these caves formerly occupied by monks.
You can also visit the temples of Karpagavinayagar and Kundrakkudi Murugan. Check in at the hotel and visit the Tirupparankundram Murugan temple which is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in South India. This temple is a masterpiece dedicated to Mother Earth for the blessings she has bequeathed to the land. At dusk try to spot one of the white peacocks that resides there. Night in Madurai.
Day 09 | Madurai
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast then start the visit of Madurai, the city – temple where you can visit the incredible Meenakshi Amman temple, one of the masterpieces of Dravidian architecture and one of the most important active temples of India.
It is dedicated to the “wife” of the god Shiva. Its eleven huge colorful Gopuram overlook the surrounding countryside. At nightfall you can return to attend a puja (ritual ceremony). In the afternoon visit of Thirumalai Naik Palace is an elegant building in the Indo-Arab style, famous for the stucco work of its domes and arches. It was built in the 17th century. Night in Madurai.
Day 10 | Madurai - Thekkady
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast and then you will be taken to Periyar, through the tea and cardamom plantations, to reach the shrine at Thekkady. It is a preserved part of dense tropical forests that cover the southwestern tip of Kerala.
One can observe the wild life that flourishes around Lake Thekkady high in Western Ghats. It offers a unique point of view to its visitors. You can go for a boat ride and can observe wild animals. Elephants, gaurs (Indian bison), sambar, deer axis, leopard, black bear, langur Nilgiri, lion tailed macaque, otter, giant squirrel malabar, wild dogs, variety of colorful birds in their natural environment and can be if you are lucky, the tiger. In the evening, show of the oldest martial art of Kerala, the Kalaripoyattu Night in Periyar.
Day 11 | Thekkady - Alleppey
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast then you will be headed to the “Venice of the South” – Alleppey to explore and experience the Houseboat. It is an incredible experience to discover the beauty of the Kerala backwaters.
On your way you will see the green fields of rice crops called paddy fields, the coconut farms. You will enjoy the tranquility of the inland waters. This cruise will take you through the narrow canals, skirting villages, green rice fields, coconut farms, temples, churches. You will be able to admire the “snake boats”, the coconut beer bar, the village of Kuttanad, the lifestyle of the villagers and their activities around the coconut fiber. Day 12 | Alleppey
Morning yoga session overlooking the beautiful Kerala Backwater. Breakfast and relaxation. These two days will offer you many opportunities to make boat trips to explore the nearby villages, floating markets, observe and understand the daily life of the inhabitants. Night at the hotel.
Day 13 | Alleppey - Cochin
Early morning your yoga session in the Backwater. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast. Proceed to cochin. Cochin is a natural harbor created by the submerged silt banks of the Malabar coast that Vasco de Gama has placed on the world map. Relax, stroll through the Jewish Quarter and visit the synagogue. Later in the evening, you will discover Kathakali, a traditional show of Kerala, made by professional artists. Night in Cochin.
Day 14 | Cochin
Post morning yoga session, visit Cochin Fort, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and the famous Chinese fishing nets. In the evening, you can follow in a traditional cooking class or take a sunset cruise. Chances are you’ll see dolphins. Night in Cochin.
Day 15 | Cochin - Goa
Early morning your yoga session at the hotel. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast and according to the time of your flight you will be driven to the airport. Check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight in Goa.
Day 16 | Goa
Early morning your yoga session on the beach. After the session, refresh yourself and enjoy your breakfast then visit South Goa.
CALANGUTE: A lovely little beach also known as “Gasper Dias”. Former Goa Samadhi Prime Minister Dayananda Bandodkar rests there. She is on the road to Dona Paula and only 3 km from Panjim, the capital of Goa.
DONA PAULA : From its highest point you can see the Zuari river flowing into the Arabian Sea. Isolated bay, the beach of Dona Paula is one of the most sought after beaches of Goa. The water sports facilities are the main attraction of this place. Once a quiet village, Dona Paula has become one of the busiest places in Goa. Named in memory of the daughter of one of the viceroys of India, Dona Paula de Menzes, who threw herself off the cliff because she had been forbidden to marry a local fisherman. This beach is haunted by mysticism and pays tribute to beauty. Overnight in Goa.

Day 18 | Goa
