Day 01 | Bangalore
Upon arrival, your Passion To India guide will be happy to welcome you and help you check-in at your hotel where you can refresh and rest. A summary of your stay will be presented to you. Depending on your arrival time you can go for a walk and have a first contact with the Indian Silicon Valley. Visit the Bull Temple, Dodda Ganapathi Temple, Vidhan Soudha (Karnataka Legislative Assembly), the High Court and walk through the colorful shopping streets, MG road and Brigade road. Day 02 | Bangalore - Kabini
After breakfast, head for Kabini en route and visit Srirangapatnam – Tipu Sultan Fort, Sri Renganatha Swami Temple and then Daria Daulat Bagh. Check-in at your hotel followed by lunch.
In the afternoon, you will proceed to Nagarhole National park for Safari.
Return back to kabini and relish your snacks. Enjoy an animal movie dedicated to the wildlife of the Park. Dinner and overnight at Kabini.
Day 03 | Kabini
At sunrise a snack will be served and you will leave for the morning safari. Return around 9:30 for a hearty breakfast. Rest or walk by the reservoir lake. Lunch then departure for the safari of the afternoon. Dinner and evening around the fire depending on the season. Night in Kabini.
Day 04 | Kabini - Mysore
At sunrise a snack will be served and you will leave for the morning safari. Return around 9:30 for a hearty breakfast. Then leave for Mysore. Check in at the hotel. Evening, visit the Chamundi Hills and the Devaraja Urs Market. Night in Mysore.
Day 05 | Mysore - Wayanad
Today, go with the Wayanad. The landscapes that stretch out before you are splendid, wide streams, hills with infinite variations of green. Gigantic trees, shrubs and bushes whose flowers bring touches of color to this emerald green landscape. The plantations of coffee, rubber, tea and rice fields are as far as the eye can see. It is a wilderness with exceptional wildlife.
Day 06 & 07 | Wayanad
Chembra Peak : The hills, rocks and valleys that contribute to the unique character of Wayanad are home to adventure tourism. The trekking at the top of the Chembra is a high place of mountaineering. Peak Chembra, the highest peak of Wayanad, is near the town of Meppady. The District Tourism Promotion Council provides guides, sleeping bags, canvases, huts and hiking equipment for rent. The beauty of Wayanad’s landscapes, visible from the top of Chambra, is very exhilarating.
Edakkal Cave : This place is located three kilometers from Ambalavayal and 25 kilometers from Kalpetta. The cave of Edakkal in located in the mountain of Ambukuthy. This is not a cave in the true sense of the word but an excavation between two parts of rocks. The rock faces are adorned with sculptures representing human and animal figures, utilitarian objects and symbols. These engravings evoke the existence of a very civilized people of the prehistoric age and are of great interest to archaeologists.
Lakkidi : One of the highest places in Wayanad. Lakkidi also enjoys a picturesque landscape. Lakkidi is at the top of Thamarassery. From the summits you can admire the Gurging River, lush vegetation and a bird’s eye view of the deep valley to the south. The 12km long road from Adivaram to Lakkidi with its nine hairpin bends in the middle of thick forests is a fascinating experience.
Muthanga Wild Life Sanctuary is located near the border of Karnadaka. The forest covers an area of 345 km² and forms the sanctuary of Muthanga. The largest wildlife reserve of Malabar. In this sanctuary are elephants, spotted deer, bison, tigers, bears and so on.
Pookot Lake : It is a natural lake, lined with evergreen mountains. The weather here is unpredictable. The beauty of the landscapes, hypnotizing and nature, intact. The Pookot Lake tourist resort in Vythiri is the most popular tourist destination in Wayanad. There is an aquarium and a House of Nature. The boating facilities are available. Spices and handicrafts are also on sale at Pookot. The lake has an area of 8.5 ha and the maximum depth of water is 6.5 meters. This lake is three kilometers south of Vythiri.
Soochippara Falls : The waterfalls of Soochippara, near Meppadi, are a real treasure of nature still to discover. Waterfalls are a feast for the eyes. Natural pools allow rafting, swimming, swimming. The tree-top shelters in Soochippara offer unique views of the Western Ghats valleys and the shallow waters of surrounding springs.
Banasura Sagar Dam : This is the largest dam in India. The topography is such that many islands form upstream of the dam when it is full. Natural pools allow rafting and swimming. Other sites still to be seen like Banasura, pooketlake and Edakkal.
Day 08 | Wayanad - Bandipur
Today, drive to another tiger reserve in Karnataka. Check-in at your hotel followed by lunch. In the afternoon you will proceed to Bandipur National Park for your safari. Return back and relish your snacks and watch an exciting animal move dedicated to the wildlife. Dinner and overnight in Bandipur
Day 09 | Bandipur
At sunrise a snack will be served and you will leave for the morning safari. Return around 9:30 for a hearty breakfast. Rest or walk by the reservoir lake. Lunch then departure for the safari of the afternoon. Dinner and evening around the fire depending on the season. Night in Bandipur.
Day 10 | Bandipur – Bangalore
After breakfast, return to Bangalore. Check in at the hotel. Free time to explore the surroundings and go shopping. Overnight in Bengaluru
Day 11 | Bangalore
It’s time to pack your bags and leave with unforgettable memories of India. You will be accompanied to the airport to catch your return flight.
